Local Charity Ride High Raises £140,000 From Their Masquerade Ball

Ride High is a registered charity that transforms the lives of disadvantaged children by giving them the opportunity to learn to ride and look after horses and ponies.

The Charity focuses on positive change in attitude, wellbeing, self-confidence and life prospects so that participants become happy, confident young people who are positively engaged in the outside world.

The charity held their very own Masquerade Ball and they raised a STAGGERING amount of money!

Ride High says:

“We are absolutely delighted to announce that our Ride High Masquerade Ball last Saturday raised an INCREDIBLE £140,000 - a record breaking amount for our annual Ball which will help us to support in the region of 300 vulnerable and disadvantaged children during the next 12 months - more than we've ever helped in one year before!

We’d like to give a huge thank you to everyone who made this possible - to our sponsor Sysmex, our wonderful guests, to those who donated items to our Live and Silent Auctions and raffle and to those who bid and won them, to Imagine Presentations, Diane at Collingwood Design, Trevor Marshall at This is my film, Kate Everall at Kate Everall Photography, and last but not least to our amazing volunteers. THANK YOU!”
