Chris Curtis, Labour’s Candidate for Milton Keynes North

Chris Curtis will contest the seat of Milton Keynes North for the Labour Party in the General Election.

Curtis is hoping to be the first MP who was born and raised in Milton Keynes. He is passionate about the city he grew up in and brings an exciting energy and charisma to Labour politics in the Milton Keynes North constituency.

Curtis is determined to fight for local people who deserve to be listened to and respected.

He said: ‘I decided to stand for parliament because I believe it is time for a change. For too long our city has been let down by useless MPs who won’t stand up for it, and a government that’s left working people worse off and left our public services on their knees.

‘I understand the problems our public services are facing, because I have seen them first hand. My mum is a local teacher, and my brother is one of our brave firefighters. They are working harder than ever, but the system isn’t working, and it is letting us all down.’

Curtis highlighted that his priority is ensuring that Milton Keynes has a long-term plan. From bringing back community policing to tackle the high levels of knife crime, to saving local high streets and protecting the many parks and rivers across the Milton Keynes North constituency.

‘After fourteen years it is time for a government with a plan to fix our economy and public services. Labour will get Britain’s future back.

‘If elected, will work tirelessly to fight for our city and stand up for the hard working people of Milton Keynes. I restore pride and purpose in our local communities.’
