Emily Darlington will contest the seat of Milton Keynes Central for the Labour Party.
Before becoming a Parliamentary candidate, Emily has devoted her career to serving her community here in Milton Keynes.
Darlington has been a successful local politician, providing sustainable, economic and viable solutions to local problems.
Darlington said, ‘I have always been committed to serving my community, keeping my morals and respect for other people central to what I do. I believe this is the bare minimum for anyone hoping to serve our country as an MP.
People are tired of the games and lies that the Conservative Party play day in and day out, and it’s clear that Milton Keynes is ready for change.
Our great city doesn’t need to be let down anymore, and that is why after 14 years of Conservative chaos, we deserve change under a Labour government.’
Darlington’s top priorities are fixing the economy and building on her work to reduce household debts, rebuilding the NHS by fighting for the new Milton Keynes hospital that still hasn’t been built in 10 years, investing in our high streets, and putting an extra police officer on the streets in each ward across the city.
‘Across our public services and key employers, it’s clear we need more investment to ensure we can continue to be a driving innovative voice in Britain, securing more jobs, better conditions and a fairer future.
I will work for you always, making sure that I listen to any member of our constituency, so that I can make the changes we need to see to Britain’s future back on track.’
