Local business PPS GB had a high profile visit this week from Shadow Energy and Veterans Minister Andrew Bowie.
PPS GB are a leading manufacturer in the British nuclear and pharmaceutical industry, based in Bletchley, making safety equipment including nuclear suits and portable shelters used by the NHS and customers around the world.
The firm supports veterans charity PTSD Resolution and the shadow minister was joined on the day by Mac, a PTSD Support Dog.
Commenting on the visit, Andrew Bowie said, “PPS are a real gem in high tech British manufacturing and a key part of the nuclear supply chain. Having visited nuclear sites and worn protective equipment, it was great to meet the team that makes it.
“As well as being such a success story for Britain and Milton Keynes, it’s fantastic to hear about the support that the business provides for veterans with PTSD. And I absolutely loved meeting Mac the support dog”
