The Parks Trust in collaboration with AccessAble - a world leader in the provision of accessibility information - have officially launched new Detailed Access Guides for three of the city’s most popular parks.
Detailed Access Guides are now available for Furzton Lake, Stanton Low Park, and Great Linford Manor Park. The new guides are 100 per cent facts, figures, and photographs to help people plan their visit to the parks, covering everything from parking facilities and assistive listening, to walking distances and accessible toilets.
Everyone’s accessibility needs are different, which is why having detailed and accurate information is so important. It’s why all the details within the guides have been checked in person, on site, by trained surveyors.

Did you know, The Parks Trust deliver special accessible events throughout the year? Popular Accessible Guided Walks provide exploratory guided tours suitable for both walking and wheeling, with hearing loop and descriptive guidance available too. These events are roughly 45 minutes and cover about a mile in distance, with plenty of benches to take a rest as needed. Coming up this season, Accessible Guided Walks will take place atWaterhall Park in July, Broughton Brook in August, and Ashland Lakes in September.
