MKRDC’s Demi Chapman was back at the Breydon Arena in Great Yarmouth on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July 2024, to skate at the GBSA Championships.

Demi’s first skate on the Saturday was a Glide Waltz, her effortless elegance earned her high marks for Technical Accuracy, Quality of Execution, and Performance Skills, leaving her sitting in first place heading into the second day of the competition.
On Sunday, Demi performed her Free Dance, to Disney Moana’s “How Far I’ll Go”. Her flawless execution showcased her impressive skating skills. Her perfect performance earned her high marks, yet again.
Demi Chapman, at just 8 years old, and having been roller skating for just under 2 years showed the Judges and spectators how far she’ll go, by becoming the GBSA Tots Solo Ladies Dance Champion 2024.
Demi has shown tremendous strength and resilience, having lost her father to cancer only one month ago.
Demi’s family are collecting donations in aid of Milton Keynes based charity Harry’s Rainbow, who support bereaved children.
