Milton Keynes City Council has joined forces with local group Cycling Citizens and the Mayor of Milton Keynes, Cllr Marie Bradburn to create a new Festival of Cycling.
From 15 to 30 March a host of free, fun activities will be taking place across the city to promote cycling including:
15 – 23 March – Ride Anywhere Week (sign up at www.lovetoride.net)
24 March to 4 April - Big Walk and Wheel to School
27 March - Bike Register Marking, Midsummer Place in CMK by the bike racks
27 March - Follow The Rabbit ride Unity Place (Station Square entrance)
28 March - Gentle Social Women’s Ride at Willen Lake
30 March - Parks Trust Parks and Ride - Campbell Park

The festival includes a photography competition with four categories. There will be a £25 voucher prize for each category to buy cycle accessories through Freewheel, provided by Madison Cycles.
Find the Mayor – Can you spot Mayor Bradburn on her bike? She will be riding somewhere in Central Milton Keynes every day during the festival (15 to 30 March).
Wheelie Good – take a selfie, short video or photo with your friends and family having fun cycling in one of MK’s amazing parks.
Follow the Rabbit– The Mayor will be following a giant rabbit on a bike around MK on 27 March and it’s your challenge to grab a photo or video clip.
Instaworthy – show off your photography skills and send us your photo of something or somewhere in MK to inspire more people to cycle.
