The National Film & Sci-Fi Museum is incredibly pleased to announce an “Evening with… George Takei”, the first event being held at the Museum on Wednesday 17th November, and a limited number of tickets are available now.
George Takei is a globally recognised actor, best known for his portrayal of Mr. Sulu in the acclaimed TV and film series Star Trek. He's an actor, social justice activist, social media mega-power, New York Times bestselling author, and much more... And now he is coming to Milton Keynes to tell you all about it!
This is a special experience for any film fan, greeted in style with a drinks reception and a welcome from George Takei, then the opportunity to explore the National Film & Sci-Fi Museum after dark. Visitors will have their photo taken with George as a totally unique memento, and can also have George sign a piece of their own memorabilia, or a supplied photo if preferred. A special poster print is being produced for this event, which will also be given to all in attendance.
Tickets are very limited, and available on a first come basis. To book yours, visit https://bit.ly/EveningWithTakei
The museum’s new “Evening with…” events have been carefully put together to ensure all ticket holders are given special access to our guests in very small groups, within an incredible and totally unique setting. This opens up the Museum at a time when it has always been closed before, giving a brand new perspective to visitors and helping our museum charity raise vital funds for our preservation projects. This is hopefully the first of many, so make sure to follow us on Facebook for details of further planned events.
