The Great British Inn Prepares for Pub Re-openings in Milton Keynes

Updated: Mar 11, 2021

The Great British Inn is an independent business that oversees many favourite pub restaurants in Milton Keynes and they are working hard to be ready for customers to return.

The Three Tree's in Bletchley and The Red House in Newport Pagnell are just a couple of the establishments that the owners have been working extremely hard to be ready after another long closure due to the Covid pandemic.

Pubs and restaurants throughout Milton Keynes have been some of the hardest hit by restrictions so re-opening is a welcome thought.

Alban Carmillia from The Great British Inn said to us, ''Despite lockdown, we’ve been working hard! We’ve used this time to make lots of improvements to our restaurants with new menus and outside areas to make sure our guests have the most enjoyable and safest return this summer, which we have ensured is weather proof to ensure the English weather doesn’t dampen our spirits. Bookings are now open; let’s create some new memories together!

Throughout the time pubs were able to open under strict guidance, many businesses were forced in to spending thousands of pounds to create divides between tables, adding sanitising stations, introducing new entrances and exits and brand new protocols for staff to follow, to ensure customer safety.

Alban continued, ''We have done our absolute best to continue providing meals to our customers as a takeaway option which has been received extremely well. We can't however replace the feeling of welcoming customers into the restaurant for the true eating out experience. We can't wait to get back to it.''

It's extremely important that when time allows, we as the community begin supporting independent businesses again.
