Milton Keynes has much more to offer than many outsiders give credit for but we happy to keep it our little secret if you are!
Despite being one of the newer parks in Milton Keynes, Stanton Low is rich in heritage. The park is situated in North East Milton Keynes and is just a short walk away from Great Linford Manor Park. The area offers incredible views across the valley of the River Great Ouse.
There is free public parking in the south west corner of the park off the Newport Road next to the Oakridge Park Local Centre. There is no public parking for visitors to the park from within the Oakridge Park residential area other than a small car park which is only for people with disabilities off Selkirk Drive.
There is also currently a café trailer operating in the park every day from 10am to 4pm which offers the warmest and tastiest of coffees.
For the family, there is plenty to keep you entertained. There is a fantastic play area on site which is suitable for all ages and a BMX track.
There is plenty of local history to discover in the area such as the below ground remains of the former Stantonbury Manor and the remains of St Peter’s Church, that dates back to at least the 12th Century.
