Newport Pagnell Town FC meet Devon side Buckland Athletic on Saturday 12th February at Willen Road in the 5th Round of the FA Vase.
The Swans have claimed some impressive scalps on route beating Harpenden Town, London Colney, Whittlesey Athletic, local side Leighton Town and of course Norfolk side Fakenham Town in the last round.
The Swan’s opponents are themselves looking to create history by equalling their best run in the Vase, another quarter final place. In fact, both Newport Pagnell and Buckland Athletic got to the Quarter Final in the FA Vase in the same year (2017).
Both teams play at the same level of football, the Swans are currently 3rd in the United Counties League Premier South while Buckland Athletic are 9th in the Toolstation Western Football League Premier.
