The Toddle About Baby Show is taking place at The Ridgeway Centre in Wolverton, Milton Keynes on Saturday 11th May 2024 and since the baby show’s launch back in October 2022, it has seen local parents and businesses flock to be a part of this brand new and seemingly much in demand event.
The Baby Show, sponsored by much-loved baby swimming provider Water Babies, will see a free soft play are, baby feeding area and meet & greet characters, so is a great chance for all parents of children under fives locally to come along, have a fun day out and maybe pick up some parenting advice or find the latest parenting gadget too!
Having secured a wealth of different business types, all desperate to showcase their products and services to local parents, the show will provide visitors with everything they need, right from the very start of their parenting journey. – Health and wellbeing, financial advice, antenatal services, education and activities are all on offer, not to mention a huge selection of products that you may not necessarily find on the High Street. Free activities, live talks and demos will be taking place throughout the day.
Pia Howe, organiser of the event says:
“A lot of thought and effort has gone into the organisation of this event. My emphasis was to have a huge variety of businesses, from non-on-the-high-street businesses to well-known and loved brands at the event, so parents are able to make an informed decision on what to buy and get expert advice on the day”.
Parents will have the opportunity to test and see latest pram and pushchair models and find out more about car seats courtesy of local, independent nursery shop Bumpstart, who are also sponsoring the event.
The live talk stage provides expert advice and knowledge, covering a wide range of topics including children’s first aid, car seat safety, breastfeeding advice and an opportunity to join free multi-activity taster sessions.
Parents will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets at the baby show to win some fantastic prizes, with all proceedings going to local charity Emily’s Star. Emily's Star has been supporting children & babies in Milton Keynes for over 11 years, offering support to families with children with complex needs in the local area and to provide premature babies with clothing, bonding aids and more, via boxes and mini packs across the UK.
